Prison Break

On 24th of May 2009 the last episode of Prison Break was  released. On 24th May 2010 I started watching Prison Break from the first episode. Believe me or not, but I didn’t choose that day on purpose – it’s just a coincidence. But nevermind. I decided I want to watch the whole story episode by episode, without any break between seasons. It was the third time when I saw the 1st and 2nd season and the second time when I saw 3rd and 4th season. And I still like the 1st season the most, because it’s something fresh, everything is planned, every scene has a meaning. The worst season is the 3rd – too many violence and dirt. Second season was ok because Mike followed his masterplan which was very interesting. Respect for Michael for thinking two steps forward.
But imho, the whole thing should finish on 2nd season. I noticed that all action serials begin to be boring, far-fetched after maximum 2 seasons. I hope you know what I mean.
The last season was an exaggeration. I just wanted everything to be over. I was tired of Kranz, Susan, T-Bag, Self. And Christina! She really make me sick. Even before she tells the truth about Linc. Her appearance just push me off. Bows for Kathleen Quinlan for playing Christina so devilish good.
Speaking of acting. This time I wasn’t into Wentworth Miller so I was able to objectively asses his job as an actor. He gets low mark from me. I cannot say a bad thing (connected with his acting) about the 1st season but during next seasons there were plenty of scenes where I should have done better. While Robert Kneeper and William Fichtner are amazing.
The last two episodes where the worst. I couldn’t pull myself together (you know how sensitive I am…) after 22nd episode and then they give me 24th episode. It makes me mad, because it makes me cry everytime I watch it!
So damn good job of Paul Sheuring. Maybe it is a bit too long but it’s a masterpiece imo.
